But my troubles are on a higher score and account. My child or friend has passed into eternity, and I do not know how it is with their soul. Were I sure that my relation was with Christ, I should be at peace. But the fears of the contrary are overwhelming. O it is terrible to think of the damnation of one so dear to me.
