That to continue in any known sin, upon what pretence or principle soever, is damnable.

Romans 1:32. Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only to do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

Romans 6. v. 1, 2. What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? Compared with Verse 15, and 16. What then? Shall we sin, because we are not under the Law, but under grace? God forbid. Know you not, that to whom you yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants you are to whom you obey, whether of sin to death, or of obedience to righteousness?

1 John 1:6, 8. If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth. If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

Chap. 3. Verse 3. And every man that has this hope in him, purifies himself, even as he is pure. Vers. 4, 5, 6, 7, 8. Whoever commits sin, transgresses also the Law, for sin is the transgression of the Law. And you know that He was manifested to take away our sins, and in him is no sin; Whoever abides in him, sins not. Whoever sins, has not seen him, neither known him. Little children, let no man deceive you; He that does righteousness, is righteous; He that commits sin is of the Devil, for the Devil sins from the beginning; for this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the Devil.

2 Peter 2:19, 20. While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption; for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage. For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.

Romans 8:13. For if you live after the flesh, you shall die, but if you mortify the deeds of the flesh by the Spirit, you shall live.
