Article 6

That this Jesus Christ is the true God, (1 John 5:29) "And we know that the Son of God is come, and has given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true. And we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life."

¶ Isaiah 45:21. There is no God else besides me, a just God and Savior, there is none beside me.

Verse 22. Look to me, and be you saved all the ends of the earth, for I am God, and there is none else.

23 I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, that to me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear.

4 Surely shall one say, in the Lord have I righteousness and strength, even to him shall men come, and all that are incensed against him shall be ashamed.

25. In the Lord shall all the seed of Israel be justified, and shall glory, which the Apostle applies to Christ (Romans 14:11, 12 & Philippians 2:6 to the 12).
