1st Psalm

1st. Psalm.

Psal. 25. To you O Lord, do I lift up my Soul.

Let the words of my mouth, and the meditations of my heart, be acceptable in your sight, O Lord my strength, and my Redeemer.

Hearken to the voice of my cry, my King and my God, for to you will I make my prayer.

For you are the God that has no pleasure in wickedness: neither shall any evil dwell with you.

If you Lord will be extreme to mark what is done amiss: O Lord who may abide it.

But there is forgiveness with you, therefore you shall be feared.

For you Lord are good, and ready to forgive, and plenteous in mercy to all them that call upon you.

O God you know my foolishness, and my sins are not hid from you.

I have gone astray like a lost sheep, seek your servant, for I do not forget your commandments.

Against you only have I sinned, and done this evil in your sight.

Cast me not away from your presence, and take not your holy Spirit from me.

Restore to me the joy of your salvation; and uphold me with your free Spirit.
