The Song of Mary Called Magnificat

My soul magnifies the LORD.

And my spirit rejoices in God my Savior.

For he has looked upon the low degree of his handmaiden.

Behold, from henceforth shall all generations call me blessed.

For he that is mighty has done great things to me, and holy is his name.

And his mercy endures throughout all generations, upon them that fear him.

He shows strength with his arm, and scatters them that be proud in the imagination of their heart.

He puts down the mighty from the seat, and exalts them of low degree.

He fills the hungry with good things, and lets the rich go empty.

He remembers mercy, and helps up his servant Israel.

Even as he promised to our fathers, Abraham, and to his seed forever.
