Postscript

Before I had quite finished this Vindication, there came to my hand a Pamphlet, pretending to prove that all our parish-churches are conventicles, where the Communion-Service is not read at the North Side of the Lord's Table. If I have not sufficiently answered him, it would do well, if some of you would maintain your legal title to your churches, and recover from that error those whom his arguments have convinced and converted, as he vainly boasts. We see, whether men's heads run round or not, controversies run round. The Appendix also is humbly submitted to your judgment.
