SECT, II. A more particular Examination of Ten of the principal Ceremonies and Idols of the Church of England.

I shall instance only in these ten particulars.

- 1. The Surplice. - 2. The Sign of the Cross in Baptism. - 3. Kneeling at the Lords Supper. - 4. Bowing to the Altar. - 5. Bowing at the name of Jesus. - 6. Popish holy days - 7. The holiness of places. - 8. The Organs, or Cathedral Music. - 9. The Books of Common Prayer. - 10. Prelacy, or Church Government by Bishops.

Which though they are condemned as idols, by all the former arguments, yet I conceive it will be useful, and tend to the further conviction and discovery of them, to speak to them severally.
